The winning agency's mandate includes handling the upcoming communication for GMR Hyderabad International Airport (Rajiv Gandhi International Airport), and GMR Delhi International Airport (Indira Gandhi International Airport).

Though the agency chose to retain its silence on the win, highly-placed sources in the industry have confirmed the news to afaqs!.

The win comes on the back of a rigorous six-seven month long multi-agency pitch process that was initiated around the second quarter of 2011.

In the recent past, JWT Mindset has worked on the creative mandate for Rajiv Gandhi International Airport.

Recall that in March 2011, the GVK-led Mumbai International Airport announced the appointment of TBWA (part of the Omnicom Group) as its creative agency for the Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport (CSIA).

The GMR Group is a Bengaluru-headquartered global infrastructure major with interests in the airports business, energy, highways, and urban infrastructure. GMR Holdings is the holding company of GMR Group.

GMR Infrastructure is the infrastructure holding company formed to fund the capital requirements of the Group's various infrastructure projects in the energy, road, and airport space.
