Style Spa initiates creative pitch

Furniture retailer Style Spa (formerly Gautier India) is scouting for a creative agency. The process, that began a few days ago, is currently underway in Chennai.

Earlier, the creative duties for the brand were with TBWA India. In the past, Hakuhodo Percept handled this account, before which the mandate was with R K Swamy BBDO.

Industry experts peg the media spends at about Rs 8-10 crore.

Chennai-based Style Spa is a part of the Adventz Group, a unified company banner inspired by the vision of the late K K Birla. The group has interests in areas such as fertilisers, heavy engineering and project management, amongst others.

Style Spa currently has more than 100 exclusive showrooms across 65 cities in the country. It was known as Gautier India until 2003. At the time, the development came in the light of the brand's effort to break away from predominantly French design-based furniture and to incorporate world trends into its product.

The product portfolio comprises bedroom, living room, dining room, kitchen, office and occasion-based furniture, among others.
