Three Indian Entries Shortlisted for Midas Awards 2014

The winners will be announced on December 2, 2014.

The Midas Awards, that felicitates best financial advertising, has announced the shortlist for the 2014 competition. Of the 197 shortlisted entries from 10 countries, three are from India.

M&C Saatchi Direct & Digital Communications has received two of the shortlists. Both the entries are for Birla Sun Life Asset Management Co. Entries titled 'Belan' and 'Financial Prayer' have made it in the 'Use of Medium', Direct Mail/Collateral category. Dentsu Creative Impact has received a shortlist for work on Max India for the 'Products & Services: Annual Reports' category.

The Midas Grand Jury of 30 international client and agency leaders from financial creative and marketing disciplines, in addition to 10 judges participating in a live session in New York City, evaluated entries to determine the 2014 Shortlist.

Shortlisted entries will now move on to Round 2, where the Midas Grand Jury will award Gold and Silver Ingots to the highest scoring entries to determine the winner for the inaugural Midas Award for Innovation. The Grand Midas will be awarded to the entry considered "Best in Show." The results of the jury are parsed in an annual rankings brief, The Midas Report - a veritable who's-who in the world of financial services advertising.

The winners will be announced on December 2, 2014. Founded in 2001, the Midas Awards is the only competition to recognise excellence in financial advertising and marketing on a global scale, honouring the World's Best Financial Advertising in banking, brokerage, insurance, mutual funds, credit cards, real estate, accounting, and consulting. The competition invites entries in four specific category groups: Products & Services, Craft, Use of Medium, and Use of Discipline.
