Dentsu Aegis Network expands its Executive Council

The council comprises Dentsu's key leadership across functions.

Dentsu Aegis Network today announced the formation of an expanded Executive Council that will drive the group's business in India. The Executive Council comprises of leaders of all the Dentsu Aegis Network companies and heads of key functions. The council will give unparalleled advantage to Dentsu Aegis Network especially India, of being able to offer their clients world-class specialist services under one umbrella.

Explains Ashish Bhasin, chairman and CEO, south Asia, Dentsu Aegis Network, "The expansion will incorporate a one P&L model across India operations. It will do away with the hassle of silos where all the people coming on board, as part of the expansion, will report to me under the Dentsu Aegis Network. In this manner, we can move our talent around and provide the best of our services in digital, creative and media under one P&L." He also adds that the coming together of Dentsu and Aegis as Dentsu Aegis Network will ensure a complete holistic range of services to the client in the best possible manner.

Chaired by Bhasin, the Executive Council includes Anand Bhadkamkar (Group Finance), Dimple Maheshwary (HR), Simi Sabhaney (Dentsu Communications), Makato Nakao (Japanese International Clients), Kartik Iyer (Carat), Haresh Nayak (Posterscope), Sidharth Rao (Dentsu Webchutney), Narayan Devanathan (Dentsu Creative Impact), Shamsuddin Jasani (Isobar), Vivek Bhargava (iProspect), Nabendu Bhattacharyya (Milestone Brandcom), Rajiv Dingra (WAT Consult), Umesh Shrikhande (Taproot Dentsu), S Yesudas (Vizeum) and R Ravishankar (psLIVE). CP Arora will be a special invitee.
