The Advertising Club restructures membership fees

The new fee structure will be effective from January 1, 2016.

The Advertising Club, an apex industry body representing the marketing, advertising, media, research and communication fraternity, has announced the reconstitution of its membership fee structure which makes membership mandatory for industry professionals participating in the Ad Club events like the Effie Awards and the EMVIES. The new fee structure will come into effect from January 1, 2016.

According to the new membership fee structure, a payment of Rs 7,500 will have to be made for life membership, while student membership will be an annual fee of Rs 1,000. Annual membership facility can be availed by paying Rs 2,500 for a period of three years, with Rs 500 as renewal fees every year.

Corporate membership to the Ad Club can be availed of in three categories -- Rs 1,00,000 for 10 members for 15 years, Rs 2,50,000 for 25 members for 15 years, and Rs 5,00,000 for 50 members for 15 years.

Individual life membership to the Ad Club is Rs 5,000 up to December 31, 2015 as before. Owing to the current holiday season, the Ad Club has extended the last date of enrolments and payments under the existing structure to January 7, 2016.

Founded in 1954, The Ad Club is an industry body that provides a platform for professionals from the advertising, marketing, media, research and communication fraternity to interact with each other. The mission of the club is to create forums and events to help its members improve their professional competence, thereby raising the standards of Indian advertising.
