Taproot Dentsu is 2016 Clio 'Agency of the Year - India'

The 'Agency of the Year X Country' is presented to the agency in each of the top 15 entrant countries, that receive the most overall Clio statue points for entries submitted across all media.

Taproot Dentsu has been announced 'Agency of the Year - India' at the 2016 Clio Awards. It is the first ever Indian agency to win this award which was instated last year.

The Clios is an international award competition for the creative business. Founded in 1959 to celebrate high achievement in advertising, the Clios annually and throughout the year, recognise the work, the agencies and the talent that push boundaries.

Commenting on the win, Santosh Padhi aka Paddy, chief creative officer and co-founder, Taproot Dentsu, says, "Clio's is one of the most prestigious and sought after advertising awards in the world today. And to be named as the best Indian creative agency of the year is an honor. We are excited at this massive achievement and hope it propels Team Taproot to even greater heights."

Annually, Clio presents "Of the Year" awards to those scoring the most statue points. To receive points, contenders must have entered the work themselves or be listed within the credits of winning entries submitted by other entrants.
