Smartphone brand Xiaomi in its digital ad content series — Mi News — released a parody video on Swami Nithyananda. The Swami just responded.
The 'me in me, is me in you' is classic meme material. The ‘riddl-ish' sentence figures in the addresses of Swami Nithyananda, a priest popular among netizens for his unusual theories. Recently, smartphone brand Xiaomi in its latest digital ad content series — Mi News — released a parody video on Nithyananda. In the Xiaomi ad titled 'SwaMi loves his #32MPSuperSelfie', an actor is seen speaking about the new Mi phones and their features. The campaign was crafted by digital agency Schbang.

The original 'Swami' just responded to Xiaomi's parody with the video 'SwaMiji's Response to Xiaomi'. Swami videos are usually unusual as he goes on to mention Xiaomi's act as a 'lie that would to lead to lower consciousness'. He explains Xiaomi's ad as a perception of his 'deep truth' and the brand's interpretation of that. It could very well be a bit tricky to perceive what's actually happening but that's all there is.
