Quikr launches Quikr Dvlpr

The website's APIs will be made publicly available through this initiative, along with other information and services.

Classifieds portal Quikr has announced its expansion with the launch of Quikr Dvlpr. As a part of this initiative, the website is making its Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) available publicly. This will allow developers in India's fast expanding internet ecosystem to build innovative apps, by registering for free.

As per the company, the Quikr Dvlpr platform will offer many parts of Quikr's core functionality to developers, allowing access to Quikr's buyer/seller flow, listings by categories and cities as well as replies to these listings. Developers will also be able to get support and analytics. Overall, the program will allow external developers to offer services, information or products to Quikr's end users.

Commenting on the launch, Pranay Chulet, founder & CEO of Quikr, says, "Our mission is to consistently innovate for our users. Quikr, established in 2008, is a horizontal classifieds platform operating in 13 categories. It has a website and an app to facilitate consumers and businesses to buy and sell. The website also launched other innovations recently such as QuikrNXT, Maximum Selling Price and Missed Calls.
