Snapdeal appoints Amit Maheshwari as CEO of Exclusively

He most recently served as senior vice president of fashion at Snapdeal.

Snapdeal has announced the appointment of Amit Maheshwari as chief executive officer (CEO) of the recently acquired online premium fashion destination Exclusively.com.

He most recently served as senior vice president, fashion, at Snapdeal and was instrumental in growing the fashion and lifestyle category into one of the most successful businesses for the e-commerce portal.

Snapdeal acquired Exclusively in February 2015 and the appointment of Maheshwari as Exclusively's CEO is part of Snapdeal's efforts to build it as India's largest premium fashion destination.

Snapdeal recently also appointed Animesh Sharma, former Wize Commerce executive, as chief technology officer of Exclusively and Abhishek Passi, former VP, strategy of Snapdeal, as chief operating officer, further strengthening the leadership team.
