He joins the telecom company from Unilever.
Siddharth Banerjee has joined Vodafone as head - brand marketing and consumer insights. Effective October 2015, he will report to director, consumer commercial. The development has been confirmed by the spokesperson from Vodafone India.

He has 15 years of FMCG experience. His joins from Unilever where he worked for 13 years.
His last stint was as the country marketing director and a member of the management committee at Unilever Sri Lanka.
Banerjee has worked across country P&L roles and global/regional brand marketing roles, with exposure across developing and emerging markets. He has lived and worked across India, Singapore, UK and Sri Lanka.
He is a BA Economics (Honours) and holds a MBA degree from the University of Delhi. Banerjee has been awarded the Chevening-Rolls Royce Innovation Scholarship to study at Oxford, under the prestigious UK Government Chevening Scholarship Scheme.
A published author, he is also a speaker on Business Innovation and Consumer Marketing at industry conferences across the Asia Pacific region.
