On the occasion of World Heart Day, the Mumbai-based English daily launched a song crowd-sourced using heartbeats of people.
Maharashtra-based English daily, DNA has released a one-of-its kind initiative titled - 'dna Heart Song' - a video that brought Mumbaikars together to celebrate World Heart Day on September 29.

It is a crowdsourced video where the heartbeats of several people are used. The initiative helps people to share and celebrate a Healthy Heart through this medium. The brand aims to shares a deeper message of unity, belonging and is a song made from thousands of heartbeats that sound just like ONE.
Dna claims that the #dnaHeartSong project is unique as it is the first ever crowd-sourced song made using actual heart beats of Mumbaikars including that of actor Ranveer Singh.
The response from Mumbai was overwhelming - close to 1,000 heartbeats were recorded on September 20 and September 21. All the heartbeats were recorded using a High Frequency Doppler Machine.
The video has already been released on the YouTube and is being promoted using the social media. The invitations for being a part of the video were being thrown open using social media and newspapers.
