21N78E bags IONA's creative and media biz

IONA has awarded its creative and media business to 21N78E, a full-service agency. The account will be serviced and led by 21N78E Bengaluru office.

Speaking about the win, Sudhir Nair, co-Founder and CEO, 21N78E, says in a press note, "IONA is a great win for us in many ways. It will be our first win in Bengaluru. Secondly, it is a fantastic brand willing to experiment with technology... We are quite positive that some very cutting-edge work will be on display soon."

According to the press release, IONA has recently appointed cricketer Chris Gayle as its brand ambassador, now also an investor in the business.

Speaking on the development, Subramanian, director at IONA Entertainment, says, "We wanted an agency who could think entertainment and push the envelope on communicating the unique experience that people can get at IONA. We liked the way 21N78E approached the brief through its planning and thereby the creative manifestation. The ideas were very cutting-edge and we hope to make the whole experience come alive."
