HT Media's CEO Rajiv Verma quits

Verma has been associated with the company for the past 14 years.

Rajiv Verma, chief executive officer (CEO), HT Media, has resigned after a long stint of 14 years with the company. He was also serving as the CEO of the HT Music and Entertainment Company. The Board of Directors announced the news of his resignation on Wednesday.

Verma will continue in his current role till his successor comes on board. Post the new CEO joining, Verma would continue to remain associated with the company in an advisory role.

The Board, while accepting his resignation, recognised Verma's contribution in bringing HT Media to a leadership position in the media industry and has also initiated the process of identifying his successor.

An alumnus of the Delhi College of Engineering, from where he earned a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Verma has worked with various brands such as Hindustan Lever, Nestle and Whirlpool.
