Kanabar had joined the digital media house in 2016 as associate director - marketing.
Vineet Kanabar, who was responsible for developing content marketing frameworks at The Viral Fever as head of marketing has moved on from the organisation. Kanabar will join Wavemaker in June as senior director for content partnerships.
He had joined the digital media house which created marquee shows like ‘Permanent Roommates’, ‘TVF Pitchers’, ‘The Kota Factory’ and many more, in 2016 as associate director - marketing. In 2017, he was promoted to the role of head of marketing.
Kanabar uploaded an emotional note on social media which states, “Today is my last day at The Viral Fever. I joined here as a fan, eager to contribute to this storytelling revolution with people who truly cared about entertaining India with a new, better praxis. I'm moving on having been a part of an incredible growth story for the past 3 and some years, and knowing that this ambitious team will achieve so much more in the years to come.”
Before joining TVF, Kanabar worked with media agency PHD Worldwide as group head - digital strategy. He moved to PHD as media supervisor in 2015 from Havas Media where he was working as digital account manager - planning and servicing.
Kanabar is a mechanical engineer from Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology and did a Post Graduate Diploma in Management - Communications from MICA.
