V-Guard has a product portfolio spanning a large range of categories such as voltage stabilisers, pumps, motors, electric water heaters, solar water heaters, fans, UPS systems for computers, digital UPS systems, LT power cables and control cables.

A source at V-Guard commented on the development, saying, "We were looking at an agency that would go beyond conventional advertising and bring about differential thinking to the table, which will add value to both our sales and marketing efforts. In Publicis, we found just that, with its broad operating philosophy of Changing Conversation around brands."

Kaustav Das, executive vice-president, Publicis Ambience (South), says, "We feel privileged to be given an opportunity to apply our philosophy of 'Changing Conversations' by creating 'Contagious Ideas' for one of the strongest brands from down South."

The new ad campaign for V-Guard voltage stabiliser will go on air shortly. The campaign will break across Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh, in time to catch the Dussera and Diwali buying frenzy.

It has been learnt that what was presented by the agency at the pitch is being aired in the forthcoming campaign almost verbatim.
