In a Chrome Talkies episode with the IAA Voice of Change initiative, CVL Srinivas, WPP India’s Country Manager, spoke with Pankaj Krishna, Founder & CEO of Chrome DM, about how advertising is changing to become more responsible and inclusive.

Now in its third edition, Voice of Change is an initiative by the International Advertising Association (IAA) that promotes discussion and progressive storytelling in Indian marketing. Srinivas called the initiative timely as such conversations expand beyond metro cities.

Srinivas discussed WPP’s efforts in women-in-leadership mentoring, LGBTQ+ inclusion, and internal forums that highlight employee voices. He also addressed surrogate advertising, noting the ethical concerns and the need for greater accountability in brand communication.

On the future of work, he makes a sharp point: “AI won’t take your job, but someone who knows how to use it might.” His message to young professionals? Keep learning, don’t fear reinvention, and take pride in the opportunities that India’s creative economy now offers.
