Sharp Business Systems (India) Limited, a fully owned subsidiary of the US$ 24 billion Sharp Corporation, Japan, has launched the new range of Notevision projector -‘XG-C430X and XG-C330X’, which provides high-brightness, high-quality performance in a compact and lightweight body with ease of operations, maintenance and network controls.

Sharp Notevision projectors employ cutting-edge optoelectronics technology in a three-LCD projection system to maximize light output, providing 4000 ANSI lumens brightness, delivering a bright, easy-to- see image even in large, brightly lit rooms.

Its Direct Power Off function provides convenience for a variety of applications by keeping the cooling fan operating even after the power supply has been turned off. This lets users immediately unplug the projector and take it from the location because there is no need to wait for the projector to cool down. It employs Eco Quiet Mode that extends the LCD and lamp life and reduces fan noise.

These Projectors are available with four optional interchangeable lenses to meet a wide variety of applications and projection situations. The lenses cover projection distances from 9.11ft to 48.4 ft for a 100” screen and can be customized to suit the projection conditions such as the room size, projection distance and projected picture size. The control functions, including power on, input select, volume, and AV Mute, can be controlled and adjusted by a computer even in another room.

These projectors can be registered to a specific website for maintenance service and support. For example, the projector can send an error message, such as to notify that the lamp is burnt out, to a web address automatically selected. The address accessed for maintenance is also shown on the display. Both XG-C430X AND XG-C330X are compatible with devices that support PJ Link, enabling systems to be easily built for centralized management and operation using a controller. These projectors also provide superior compatibility with various control systems such as Crestron, AMX and Extron.

Sharp Notevision is available in two models, XG-C430X and XG-C330X and is priced at Rs 2,72,000/- and Rs 1,59,000/- respectively. These projectors are available through Sharp’s exclusive dealer outlets and IT channel partners across India.

Sharp Business Systems (India) Limited commenced with office automation and information technology business in India in the year 2000 and has crossed the turnover mark of Rs. 100 crores in the financial year 2005-2006. The company’s product portfolio in India includes digital copiers/printers, multimedia projectors, facsimile machines, electronic cash registers and
