QAD appoints Axcend Automation and Software Solutions Pvt Ltd as its distributor in India

QAD, a global provider of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software, has appointed Axcend Automation and Software Solutions Pvt Ltd as its second distributor in India. In keeping with QAD expanding its channel network in India, Axcend will be responsible for sales and implementation of the entire range of QAD products in India. QAD’s cutting-edge ERP solutions are designed to support the growing tendency of Indian industry to incorporate ERP solutions in their business models.

Axcend, an enterprise Manufacturing IT solution provider, will be responsible for expanding the market for QAD’s products. It has a good knowledge of the manufacturing industry in India and will open the market for QAD’s products in the country. The move aims to synergize QAD’s range of ERP solutions like CRM, Business Intelligence, Enterprise Asset Management, Transportation Management etc. with Axcend’s deep domain knowledge and reach of the automotive, industrial machinery, auto components and consumer goods industries.

In a similar vein, Axcend’s spokesperson Uma Balakrishnan, CEO reiterated, “Axcend’s deep knowledge of the discrete manufacturing domain and ERP requirements of the different Indian industry verticals coupled with the range of QAD’s products will forge a strong strategic partnership.”

QAD is an Enterprise Resource Planning software vendor. QAD’s solutions are targeted at 6 main industry verticals: Automotive, Consumer Products, Electronics, Food and Beverage, Industrial Products, and Life Sciences. Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) is already QAD’s distributor in India. With the opening of a Global Resource Centre (GRC) in Mumbai, QAD India operations include Product Development, Support and Services. QAD’s other development office is located in Delhi.
