Hyderabad

TATA Teleservices Limited (TTSL), the leading national private basic telecom services operator, today announced a new, aggressive offer for CDMA Mobile Service under its brand TATA INDICOM. Under this offer, customers can get a CDMA Mobile connection including the handset at an initial cost of only Rs 2,600, making it India's most affordable mobile offer.

This highly competitive offer for CDMA Mobile service comes from TATA Teleservices, a tried, tested and proven telecom company of the TATA Group, which embodies the core values of trust and reliability. The TATA INDICOM has now under its fold over 4,65,000 satisfied customers spread across six circles of the country.

It is now pro-actively making available this offer in response to the ever-evolving needs of its customers. The offer makes available CDMA handsets, provided through TTSL's vendors, at very affordable costs thus eliminating the single biggest limiting factor in the growth of CDMA Mobile service.

Announcing the introduction of the new offer, Mr. S. Ramakrishnan, Managing Director, TATA Teleservices Limited, said: "After pioneering the launch of CDMA Mobile services in the country, wherein we were the first to offer free incoming calls and no airtime charges, we are now taking a major step towards making the service most affordable to customers. The twin objectives of the offer are to break the entry barrier for CDMA Mobile phones besides bringing down the ownership cost like never before. Being the leader in CDMA Mobile services, we took it upon us to offer the best value-for-money proposition to our customers."

Further, customers going mobile today by availing this very promising offer can look forward to a host of other attractive schemes shortly. The offer is being launched simultaneously in all the five circles where TTSL is offering the CDMA Mobile service: Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Gujarat and Delhi. The offer has two options for the customer to choose from, depending on one's requirement.
