Roopa Badrinath joins Rediffusion | DYR, one of the leading advertising agencies in the country, as the Head of Training and Development. The agency that strongly believes in investing in its people, has taken this major initiative in order to empower & inspire the agency’s talent. Roopa’s appointment comes from their belief that it is the agency’s responsibility to help their talent adopt and adapt with all the new skill sets that will enable them to keep up with the pace, new ideas and the changing world.

Speaking on this appointment, Mr. Mahesh Chauhan, President, Rediffusion | DYR says, "Roopa is a key addition into the new Rediffusion |DYR ecosystem. Her appointment is an indication of our intent to be a learning organization that will continuously empower our employees to explore newer domains in the modern ever-evolving communication paradigm. She comes from an IT background and is an accomplished professional in the training and development space."

Roopa is excited about her new assignment and says, "I am looking forward to this assignment at Rediffusion | DYR that will challenge me to strengthen the structure and systems in a creative & lateral thinking system."

Roopa has over 15 years of experience in the IT Training industry. She joins Rediffusion | DYR from Aptech where she was the Talent Finder for both domestic and international markets. Prior to that, she was with NIIT where she was instrumental in setting up their Executive Training Division.

Roopa's competence lies in conceptualizing and developing tools and techniques for various skills and behavioural programs. Her mandate at Rediffusion DY&R will be to identify and implement the key areas for development and see to it that every employee, depending on his function and life stage in work undergoes certain hours of training in a year. She will assist in development of training content, plan, facilitate and conduct programs.

Roopa is a voracious reader, P. G. Wodehouse being her 'weakness'.
