WASP3D and wTVision enter into sales and technical alliance ahead of IBC 2007

WASP3D, the leading Real-time 3D Graphics solution, today announced that it has signed an agreement with Portugal based wTVision to use advanced WASP3D Graphics solution as a standard platform for its products. Further, wTVision has also been appointed as a channel partner for WASP3D to sell and market its products in Portugal, Spain and Belgium.

Bruno Parreiras, Commercial Director with wTVision said, “Our customers would jointly benefit from this deal and new innovations that the integrated technology provides.” “We intend to extend this platform for creating workflow and UI for about 1500 production services annually.”

WASP3D and wTVision will collaborate to deliver integrated 3D Graphics enterprise suite for television broadcasting stations on WASP3D Real-time Graphics platform. wTVision would be integrating WASP3D SDK (Software Developers Kit) with its graphic engine – Slides CG Framework. The technical alliance between the two players is likely to benefit the customers by reducing costs and time-to-air through advanced workflow automation and asset management.
