Tissot, the renowned Swiss watchmaker introduces another member to its sports family by launching the Diver Seastar 1000 Automatic. This elegant yet sporty watch is specially designed for those seeking both technical performance and style. Tissot Diver Seastar has been voted the second Best Watch of the Year 2004, by the readers of the popular German watch magazine "Uhren Magazin".
G. Kannan, Country Manager Swatch Group (I) Pvt Ltd said, "Every detail of the Tissot Diver Seastar has been specifically studied to ensure that it is not only professionally but also aesthetically pleasing for those customers who, like Tissot, share a pioneering spirit that draws them to explore the depths of the oceans."
The Tissot Diver Seastar 1000 Automatic combines cutting-edge modern design with top class performance. This new diver's watch comes in a metal bracelet or rubber strap (both with diver's extensions) and is capable of withstanding 300 metres of water pressure. Thanks to its protected screw-down crown the watch is able to sustain added water resistance. Another unique feature is its one-way rotating bezel clearly marked with red indices, which facilitates the diver by showing the decompression time.
In India, the Tissot Diver Seastar is available at an affordable price of Rs 22,800 for rubber strap and Rs 24,000 for the metal strap, across 100 outlets in the country. Available in black, marine blue or silver dials the watch possesses a spherically domed crystal, which magnifies the bold luminous indices and has the distinctive Tissot "T" at 12. This is not the only sea imagery incorporated into this unique timepiece, whose signature itself commences with a stylised "S" in the form of a seahorse. Looking carefully through the glass back of the case, formed like a ship's porthole cut around its six screws, a small diver can be clearly distinguished swimming along the edge of the watch's oscillating weight.
Tissot's characteristic attention to detail ensures that this watch, as well as being a high performance instrument, is also a smart original contemporary timepiece with a distinctive appearance and unique features.
