In line with its strategy to focus on services, Nokia has planned a unique showcase at Mobile Asia 2008. Nokia will provide consumers a first hand experience of a wide range of innovative services such as - Navigation, Convergence, Imaging, Music and Gaming at India’s biggest telecom event. These services will help Nokia to reinforce its vision of combining benefits of Internet to bring new services to life.
Divided into ten zones, Nokia experiences will be showcased in a 2800 square feet area at Mobile Asia to be held at the Pragati Maidan from February 29- March 3, 2008.
Sharing details of Nokia’s participation at Mobile Asia 2008, Devinder Kishore, Director – Marketing, Nokia India said, "Nokia is a clear leader in the mobile space and now we are gearing up to take mobility to the next level by offering a range of Internet services to our consumers. Mobile Asia is a perfect platform for us to demonstrate the depth and range of our services portfolio. On display will also be a wide range of converged devices including the Nokia 6110 Navigator - the first dedicated phone optimized for GPS and navigation functionality, Nokia N95 8GB, Nokia 82, Nokia 73 – the latest Nokia Nseries multimedia devices, Nokia 5610 & Nokia 5310 XpressMusic and Nokia E90 Communicator, amongst others.
Technology enthusiasts will get an opportunity to participate in an exciting game to navigate their way through the exhibition venue. The simulated game can be played by a two member team and will involve setting a start up and end destination point. Both users will be given a navigation based handset to reach the final destination point marked by them. The person who will reach first will win an exciting navigation prize.

Navigation
Nokia has a strong GPS enabled product portfolio – from dedicated navigation products to extensive smart devices, covering different segments of consumers. Currently Nokia has over five devices with integrated GPS; the Nokia 6110 Navigator, the Nokia N95 and N95 8GB, Nokia N82 and the Nokia E90 Communicator. However, the total number of Nokia devices that support GPS is very large since all Nokia S60 and many Series 40 devices support GPS via a Bluetooth wireless module. Currently Nokia Navigation devices in India come with pre-installed maps for 8 cities including Delhi & NCR, Jaipur, Ahmedabad, Pune, Mumbai, Chennai, Bangalore & Hyderabad. The maps currently have locations and details of 75,000+ km of roads, 10,000+ Restaurants & Hotels, 10,000+ Banks & ATMs, 5,000+ Schools & Colleges, 3,000+ Petrol Pumps, 3,000+ Places of Worship, 2,000+ Hospitals & Medicine Shops, 2,000+ Car & Auto Service Stations, and 1,000’s of other places of interest.

MBlog2.0 by Nokia Nseries is an exclusive mobile blogging application which allows managing a blog straight from mobile device. Consumers can share their experiences with the rest of the world instantly - be it uploading text, images or videos. By using M-Blog one can click a picture or shoot an av and have it online within minutes - all from the same device! Mblog is like a personal experience zone/diary that can be frequently updated by Nokia users with a GPRS/Internet subscription from a mobile service provider.
Music Store
The Nokia Music Store offers millions of tracks from major artists, independent labels as well as a broad range of local artists from around the world. The store is accessible via a desktop computer or directly from a compatible Nokia device, such as the Nokia N81 or Nokia N95 8GB multimedia computer. The Nokia Music Store offers full track streaming on PC as well as individual track and album purchase. This service will soon be available in India.
Nokia Video Center
The Nokia Video Center is an innovative application by Nokia Nseries which offers the users with one simple place to discover and access the best choice of mobile video content via 3G, WiFi or PC. Users can switch easily between a range of different video services choosing from branded on-demand video, internet video podcasts and their own favorite videos. The Nokia Video Center is available on the Nokia N95 and Nokia N95 8GB. This service will soon be available in India.
