Hertz India launches Limousine services for Emirates in India

Hertz India has announced the launch of its Limousine service exclusively for Business and First Class passengers of Emirates Airline in India. The Limousine service launched in India is in line with Emirates’ Chauffeur drive service offered to the airline’s Business and First Class passengers in many international cities. The service involves a complimentary transfer from/to the airport.

Carzonrent India Pvt. Ltd., the Master licensee for Hertz in India, has acquired a new fleet of 75 Mercedes C Class, automatic vehicles to provide this complimentary transfer service to Emirates’ passengers in Mumbai initially, and hope to introduce this service in other cities shortly. This initiative makes Carzonrent the owner of the largest fleet of Mercedes cars in the country.

It is for the first time that this service has been launched by Emirates in India. Hertz will be Emirates’ exclusive partner in this venture. On the occasion of the launch of the Limousine service, Mr. Rajiv K. Vij, CEO, Hertz India, said, “The Limousine drive for Business class and First class passengers has been an important value-added service offered by Emirates across the world. Based on our experience, technology, infrastructure, and expertise in handling the largest and most prestigious list of corporate clients, we have been given the opportunity to team up with Emirates and launch their Chauffeur drive service in Mumbai.”

Hertz in India has been managing the premium and luxury segment of cars for over six years now and has become the largest Branded car rental player in the market.
