BIG Street, the company specializing in the OOH (Out of Home) media business, which launched recently in India, is creating waves across the country. As part of its sturdy expansion plans, the Company has been acquiring inventory across markets, the latest being two key acquisitions with 35 hoardings and 5 gantries at Ashram Road, Ahmedabad and 417 Chandigarh Transport Undertaking buses in Chandigarh.

The two key acquisitions come at a time when the OOH industry is going through a transformation phase, with the industry growing at 17% CAGR. Ahmedabad’s Ashram Road, is a landmark in the city and figures in most media planners advertising plans, which acts as a huge impetus for BIG Street in the market. As part of BIG Street’s plans for maintaining city aesthetics, while growing their business, the Company plans to upgrade the current inventory to LED screens, back-lits and scrollers. In Chandigarh, where there are low options for OOH advertising, buses form a very integral and key medium for OOH advertising. With its fleet of 417 buses, advertisers can reach out to audiences across the city and states.

Currently present in Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Cochin, Chennai and now in Chandigarh & Ahmedabad, the company plans to bring in international quality to India and with the opportunities and the potential that it holds, BIG Street is all geared to transform innovation in OOH.

With the largest network of LED (Light Emitting Diode) in Bangalore, the latest innovation in the field of OOH, the company aims to change the face of OOH in India. In the years to come, we want to be known as solutions provider and not merely media providers.”
