Aditi Technologies, a product R&D partner to ISVs and financial services enterprises, has been selected as one of the 50 Best Workplaces in India for the year 2008, and amongst the Top 5 IT Workplaces in India. The study, one of the largest and most recognized such studies in the world, was conducted across various industries and cities in India by the Great Place to Work® Institute, a pioneer in studies pertaining to workplace environment around the globe.

The study ranks companies along five key parameters credibility and integrity of management, respect and support for employees, fairness in policies, pride in job and company, and camaraderie in the workplace. The results were ascertained through a confidential survey of employees of participating companies as well as a 'Culture Audit' conducted by the Institutes team. Commenting on Aditis culture, Prasenjit Bhattacharya, CEO, Great Place to Work Institute, India, says, Aditi's informal culture and flexibility provided to employees makes it a great place to work.

The findings of the study are significant as an indicator of companies ability to hire and retain top talent in an economy that is witnessing a severe talent shortage. In the IT space, the quality of talent is the largest determinant of quality of services provided to customers, and over 6000 IT companies in India compete to hire from the same limited talent pool. Being recognized as a Best Workplace underscores Aditi as a top employer, tapping into the same talent pool and hiring the cream of talent.

Pradeep Singh, Founder and CEO of Aditi, says, "Aditi has always described our employees as our most important stakeholders. Our founding principle is one of creating a workplace where people have pride in their work, enjoy what they're doing, and know they can make a difference. Our business model demands retaining people from the top 1% of talent available, and we’ve focused on building a great work culture and doing high-end interesting work. Named as one of the Top 5 IT workplaces in India, when there are 6000 such companies, is a matter of great satisfaction."

For over 20 years and in more than 30 countries, the Great Place to Work Institute has been conducting studies to identify and understand great workplaces. The study helps organizations transform themselves into great workplaces by a process of discovering their strengths and benchmarking themselves against other organizations. 2008 is the first year in India when the Institute has conducted the study as an independent entity, in partnership with financial daily The Economic Times. The results were announced today at an awards ceremony to felicitate the companies that made it to the prestigious list, which is to be published by Economic Times, in a special magazine format due to hit the stands on May 19th, 2008.
