Dexterity, a pioneer and leader in Marketing and Customer Informatics, has appointed Dr. Jayendra Ramesan as Practice Head Analytics. Jayendra, Ex-Director, Sales and Marketing Analytics, Dun & Bradstreet (D&B) USA, brings with him over 15 years of experience in the global high-tech industry.

Speaking on Jayendra's appointment, Anantha Krishnan, Chairman & CEO, Dexterity, said, "Jayendra's appointment is an important milestone in the company's strategy roadmap. With his rich experience in Marketing and Customer Analytics and related streams, Jayendra will play a critical role in developing Dexterity’s Analytics practice in line with the company's business thrust."
Jayendra's expertise spans the areas of market analytics, market research, business intelligence, data modeling and integration, business modeling, data and analytics consulting and strategy. At Dexterity, Jayendra's primary focus will be building and differentiating the Analytics practice in terms of
- breadth and depth of solutions
- quality manpower
- being well equipped with latest tools and technologies
He will work towards setting up a global centre of excellence with partnerships with leading academic institutions in India and abroad.

Prior to D&B, Jayendra has worked at leading companies like IBM, AT&T Labs, Bell Labs (Lucent), and Coopers & Lybrand. He has also headed his own venture in India offering services in the areas of CRM analytics, global leadership development and individual enablement. He has published and presented his work at various international conferences. Jayendra has completed his Ph.D in Business Administration (Marketing) from Florida Atlantic University, USA, and is a graduate of IIT, Madras and IIM, Ahmedabad.
Demand-side* business processes marketing and customer focused functions and related processes, as opposed to cost-side business processes such as supply chain, finance, manufacturing and the like.
