Talking about the launch of Virgin Mobile to Virgin Mobile, M. A. With Virgin Mobile to Virgin Mobile outgoing calls now being priced at 10 paise per minute, Virgin Mobile customers can call their peers within the Virgin Mobile network virtually for free. This is because our Get Paid to Receive (GPRC) proposition allows all Virgin Mobile customers to earn 10 paise credit for every minute of an incoming call.
Since its launch, Virgin Mobile has taken a number of initiatives to offer customized and relevant offerings for its youth audience to meet their style, budget and aspirational quotient. This includes introduction of a few bundled offers including vBling, vSleek, vTrendy and vSwing. vBling offers a stylish mirror finished clam shell handset bundled with lifetime validity and a prepaid connection at Rs. 2199 whereas vSleek offers an ultra slim phone priced at an attractive point of Rs. 4,799 bundled with lifetime validity, a starter user kit and 2000 minutes of free local calls to any network. vTrendy is a combination of an extremely stylish color screen phone loaded with FM Radio. This is available at an attractive price of Rs. 1,499 and comes bundled with lifetime validity recharge and a starter user kit. vSwing, is yet another handset which comes bundled with lifetime validity and a starter user kit, all of this at Rs. 1,999. In addition, the company has many interesting tariff packages that have been created basis insights into the youth market.
There are more than 215 million Indians aged between 14 -25 years old. Over the next three years, Virgin Mobile expects this segment to add over 50 million new youth subscribers and to have mobile service revenues of over Rs 350 billion. By focusing exclusively on a single segment and by continuing to deliver innovative services that cater to this segment's distinct needs, Virgin Mobile plans to capture more than 10 percent of this incremental market within 3 years of launch.
