DQ Entertainment (DQE), the LSE listed company, and the world’s leading Producer & Distributor of Animation, VFX, and Gaming Art has announced the launch of launching its ‘DQ School of Visual Arts’ in Mumbai, Chennai & Kolkata respectively to provide high quality training through its state-of-the-art facilities. The company has also opened three Animation production facilities in these cities as part of its expansion.
Although Indian animation industry has made stupendous growth in the last few years, it is still hampered by lack of skilled QULITY manpower mainly due to the lack of quality in animation education in the country and mushrooming of institutes that do not focus on Industry relevant and ready quality talent. DQE itself is looking at recruiting at least around 1200 to 1500 animation and gaming professionals in the next one year. To cater to this need, DQ Entertainment has ventured to provide highest quality career-oriented training in the field of animation, gaming and visual effects through DQ School Visual Arts. DQ School of Visual Arts will strive to train and nurture students into qualified visual effect and animation experts through its up-to-date industry relevant content to students, backed by world-class faculty and high-tech educational tools.
DQ Entertainment has been imparting world class training since 1999, through their ‘Centre for Learning’ in association with various state governments. Constant improvement and the market’s demand for high quality animation and gaming professionals, has lead to the establishment of DQ’s School of Visual Arts.

The vision for an equipped and trained workforce by DQ Entertainment has emancipated through many ways such as ‘Raj Kaushal’, an animation, gaming and visual effects training academy in Jaipur. The academy was initiated in collaboration with Rajasthan Government, and offers in-house training in production. DQ Entertainment is also associated with Government of West Bengal in operating hi-end animation academy with an objective of imparting technical training for local talent and enhances their career growth.
DQ School of Visual Arts offers curriculum based courses on 2D Animation & 3D Animation using Animation, Flash, Compositing, Modeling, Rigging, Textures & Surfaces, Lighting, Visual Effects, Camera, Rendering etc.
