FreeAgent Go

Designed for college students, mobile consumers, multimedia users and business professionals, the FreeAgent Go is an ultra slim (at 12.5 mm, world's slimmest) pocket-sized drive, available in capacities upto 500GB. Though ultra slim, it still includes all the advanced shock and vibration protection people have come to expect from Seagate.

Another first, the new FreeAgent Go is the first external hard drive to offer a docking option, providing a practical way to move from the desk to the road, leaving behind the hassle of fumbling with cables and USB ports. The FreeAgent Go desktop docking station (an optional accessory) comes paired with a black leatherette carrying case to add style while protecting the drive from the bumps and scratches encountered while traveling in hand bags and during other on-the-road adventures.

The FreeAgent drives for Windows also offer security in the form of software-based encryption and Seagate DrivePass password protection for drive access to keep your information safe and private . The environmentally smart utilities help save energy by putting the drive in sleep mode once it has been idle for 15 minutes.

The FreeAgent Go is available for both Mac and Windows operated PCs, in a variety of popular colors, including silver, black, red, and blue.

The FreeAgent Go sports a sleek compact design that easily fit into a shirt, pants or jacket pocket. The RRP for the FreeAgent Go (Windows version) is Rs. 5500/- (250GB); Rs. 7000/- (320GB); and Rs. 12000/- (500GB). The dock and case carry an RRP of Rs. 1600/-.

The FreeAgent Go for Mac incorporates a FireWire 800/400 interface, docking station and carrying case as standard. The RRP for the FreeAgent Go for Mac is Rs. 9000/- (250GB); Rs. 10000/- (320GB).
