Zebra Technologies Corporation (NASDAQ: ZBRA), a global leader in specialty printing and automatic identification solutions, enters the Punjab market with auxiliary technology to suit the requirements of varied sectors in the industry. Having its presence felt in major cities in India like Mumbai, Delhi & Bangalore, Zebra Technologies is now looking at reaching out to the tier II and tier III cities in India. Zebra Technologies targets sectors across verticals which include Retail, Pharma, Healthcare, and Manufacturing, Airlines, Entertainment and others. In the past year, Zebra has received encouraging responses from companies across these sectors.

The overall market of printing solutions including printers in the country has been growing at a pace of 35-40% for the last 3-4 years. Within a short span of time, the overall automatic identification and Data capturing industry (AIDC) market has reached Rs.200 crore and it is expected to grow at robust pace. Zebra Technologies is looking to target organized retail, logistics and manufacturing segments for selling its printing solutions.
