On the occasion of the Republic Day, Volkswagen India is introducing a VW India Assistance program that further reiterates the company’s commitment towards its customers. VW India Assistance is an integrated & personalized program that offers a unique Customer Relationship Management service to provide one-stop solutions to its customers. The program includes Roadside Assistance program, VW Info Services and VW Customers Club bringing Volkswagen just a call away from its valued customers.
The program is a strong platform for the company to build long-term relationships with its customers, beyond the point of sale, and communicate its brand image of trust and reliability.
Announcing the initiative, Mr. Joerg Mueller, President and Managing Director, Volkswagen Group India said, “The VW India Assistance program will enable us to maximize our commitment and strengthen the emotional value that binds our diverse set of customers to the Volkswagen brand. Our endeavor is to offer the best in service quality to our customers resulting in highest levels of customer satisfaction.”
The Roadside Assistance Program (RSA Program) is a unique initiative that will assist the customer & the vehicle in case of breakdowns or accidents. Some of the considerable benefits for passengers are:
* Travel and accommodation during immobilization or theft of the vehicle
* Transport to destination or habitual residence
* Transport for travel companions.
* Transportation of luggage and personal belongings
* Urgent transportation due to loss at residence (fire, theft etc...)
* Transmission of urgent messages
Through the RSA Program, Volkswagen will also offer several services for the vehicles:
* Towing of the vehicle to VW dealership
* On site repair, if possible
* Dispatch of spare keys incase of loss of keys
* Dispatch of fuel
* Wheel replacement
* Extraction of the vehicle
* Location and dispatch of spare parts
* Transportation, storage and safekeeping of the vehicle.
* Custody of the vehicle due to immobilization
The VW Info Service which is a part of the VW India Assistance Program includes a complete range of services and covers all necessities for Volkswagen customers in India, such as service appointments, commercial information, complaints management and concierge services. The VW Customer Club will soon be launched in the second phase of the project.
