Gillette India launches new line of products

Gillette India today announced the launch of the Premium Repositioned Series Product Range, the New Gillette Series. The New Gillette Series offering restructures the portfolio to deliver relevant product benefits in each category: Skin benefit for Shave Preps and After Shave Gels and Fragrance for Splash and Deodorants.

New Gillette Series Shaving Preparations and After-Shave Gels are designed specifically for the individual skin care and protection needs of men. The New Gillette Series Shaving Preparations and After-Shave conditioners provide advanced comfort and protection and help restore skin to a healthy balance after shaving. The New Gillette Series Deodorants are premium, technologically advanced products that deliver long-lasting odor and 24 hours protection.

According to Regional Business Director, Gillette India, Mr Manoj Kumar, "The New Gillette Series evolves further from the sensory and functional benefits of the Gillette Series line of products that incorporated superior chemistry, new product forms and unique fragrances to a more deep rooted appreciation of personal care needs, tailored to suit individual skin types and delivering end shave skin benefits."

"The New Gillette Series are the Next Generation range of products, which adds a soothing and invigorating element to personal grooming and personal care regimen. It reflects the increasing sensitivity of the male customer to products that provide advanced protection and comfort," according to Mr Kumar.

Advanced Protection & Comfort

The New Gillette Series Shave Preps have now been re-formulated with soothing Aloe for sensitive skin, Glycerin for moisturizing, Allantoin for protection, Vitamin E for conditioning and Tea Tree Oil for clean skin. The Shave Gel has also been enhanced with anti-friction lubricants for ultra smooth razor glide. For After Shave Splash and Deodorants, the signature fragrances are Cool Wave (clean and crisp), Wild Rain (fresh and invigorating), Pacific Light (light and fresh) and Arctic Ice (bold and exhilarating). The aerosol formulation has been improved for 24 hour protection against odour and longer lasting fragrance impact.

Ergonomic Packaging

The New Gillette Series products have seen significant packaging advancement. Shave Gels and foams feature an ergonomic actuator with an elastomeric Accu-gripTM finger pad to simplify dispensing. The After Shave Gels and Splashes feature distinctive, ergonomically designed side grips and a new premium glass bottle for the After Shave Splash.
