eBay India, India’s leading eCommerce marketplace, in association with STAR Plus, announced a special charity auction of the celebrity memorabilia donated by the renowned Bollywood star guests on Farah Khan’s new show Tere Mere Beach Mein (TMBM). All the proceeds of the TMBM celebrity memorabilia auctions on eBay will benefit the NGO SNEHA (Society for Nutrition, Education and Health Action).
The launch episode of TMBM had Mama’s Boy Salman Khan who donated the famous yellow towel from Mujhse Shaadi Karoge, autographed by the star. The autographed yellow towel is on auction on eBay India (www.eBay.in/star) with a start price of Rs. 1,001. The Salman Khan auction started on Sunday, August 23, 2009 and will be on till Sunday, August 30, 2009 at 9 am. All of Salman Khan’s diehard fans from across the world have started to bid on this exclusive celebrity memorabilia. The current bidding amount has gone upto Rs 1, 42,000 with more than1627 unique visitors.

The towel on auction was used by Salman Khan during the rehearsals of the chartbuster song “Jeene ke hain chaar din” from the superhit movie “Mujhse Shaadi Karogi” directed by David Dhawan. This song was choreographed by non other than Farah Khan herself. This was perhaps one of the reasons why Salman decided to get the towel on her show. Salman also did the famous dance step with the towel from the song on the launch episode of Tere Mere Beach Mein on STAR Plus to everyone’s applause.
