Aptech Learning Services receives "Apex 2009 - Award for Excellence"

Aptech Learning Services, the learning content development arm of Aptech Limited, a global leader in learning solutions has won the prestigious "APEX 2009 - Award for Excellence" in the Electronic & Video Publication category for its work on eLearning Course on Anatomy (An ARENA module).

APEX 2009, the 21st Annual Awards for Publication Excellence, is an international competition that recognizes outstanding publications from newsletters and magazines, electronic and video publication to annual reports, brochures and Web sites.

On receiving this recognition, Mr. Nilesh Vani, Executive Vice President, Aptech Learning Services said, "It gives us immense pleasure to receive the APEX Award of Excellence, especially since this recognizes the spirit of innovativeness which Aptech has always nurtured. We accept this accolade on behalf of our team, which works relentlessly on designing and developing interactive e-learning solutions, to provide a superior learning experience."

According to the APEX 2009 judges, "The awards were based on excellence in graphic design, quality of editorial content and the success of the entry in conveying the message and achieving overall communications effectiveness."

With close to 3785 entries the competition was exceptionally intense. The APEX judges saw only the most promising publications that professionals could enter. They had the truly difficult task of selecting award winning entries.

Aptech was given accolade for its entry submission with the title - "Anatomy Study". This interactive training program is designed to engage the learner by providing a simulated courseware with a blend of real world scenarios and theory. Instructionally sound with rich content and visuals, the program enables learners to reinforce and retain their learning leading to an enhanced user experience.

The learning objective of this module is to enable students to draw anatomy of human figures systematically and with ease thus allowing them to use their skill sets to explore the world of animation and multimedia.
