Sachin Mohite appointed Programming Head, Miditech

Sachin Mohite has been appointed as Programming Head, Miditech Mumbai. Sachin Mohite will report into Manisha Tripathi, President, Miditech Pvt. Ltd. and will specifically drive the development and production of fiction programming for Miditech’s customers in Hindi and in Marathi, based out of Mumbai.

Sachin is an accomplished professional in the media industry and has been involved with significant projects in the media and entertainment sector. Sachin returns to Miditech and brings with him, 12 years of work experience in television, from conceiving and developing ideas to complete production and post production.

Sachin most recently served as Creative Director, for REAL and prior to that was with ‘BIG TV’ – Reliance Group heading their regional and national production house.

Announcing Sachin’s appointment, Niret Alva, Chairman, Miditech Pvt Ltd, said, “Sachin brings with him contemporary sensibilities and a deep understanding of Indian Television. We see Miditech’s shows and businesses, both growing with Sachin's leadership and involvement.”

Sachin started his career as an Assistant Director of the famous series on Zee TV, 'Tara' and was an Executive Producer of famous shows like 'V3+', 'Shatranj', 'Umeed' etc which are considered to be the foundation for satellite television in India. Sachin then progressed to Balaji Telefilms and was part of the team to set up shows like 'Kahaani Ghar Ghar Ki', 'Kasam' and 'Kaun'. He has set up shows for Prime Channel, Star Plus, Sony Television, Hungama TV and Sahara One for Cinevistaas Ltd. Lately, he was a part of Endemol India as Creative Head, post which he was with Miditech for a short while.
