APC by Schneider Electric, a global leader in integrated critical power, cooling and management solutions today announced the launch of its 'Channel Partner Program' (CPP) in India. As part of the program, over 3000 partners across 40 cities in India will get to attend training sessions involving APC's technical, sales and marketing teams.

CPP is focused on five critical success factors – Channel profiling and alignment to APC, Empowerment, Enablement and Profit. Under each of these success factors, APC has clearly defined processes that will enable partners with in-depth understanding of APC's world-class, energy efficient solutions, and get them to be more customer focused in their business approach.

Announcing the program, Mr. Gaurav Burman, Director, Transaction Business, APC by Schneider said, "The challenges customers and partners are facing with regards to power and cooling and overall energy efficiency is simply unprecedented. New tools, techniques and technologies are required, including new ways for the vendor community to optimize higher learning requirements and shorter sales cycles. APC has always focused on helping partners find new, sizable market opportunities by offering innovative solutions that are easy to sell. We have always believed that a well trained, knowledgeable partner will deliver better value to the customer and therefore we are rolling out CPP as an intensive, country wide partner training initiative to enable our partners differentiate themselves in the market place.”

Core aspects of the CPP program include:

* Profiling: APC will evaluate each partner's core business profile, areas of expertise, and future ambitions so that the program structure, marketing and sales support efforts best meet partner's expectations.

* Alignment: APC will align each partner into the program structure that best maximizes their business profile and future ambitions.

* Empowerment: The program provides best in class curriculum via instructor lead and eLearning that empowers the partner to act as the trusted advisor to their customers.

* Enablement: Partners can access quality, high impact sales and marketing tools that enable partners to solve critical power and cooling problems, as well as direct support to all partners' tiers.

* Profit: The program will provide financial differentiation to partners based on their commitment to APC.

"The industry is facing challenges severe enough to change the way customers allocate their IT budgets and how they deploy technology for decades to come. Our next generation of channel programs will serve as the blueprints for partners to solve customer issues associated with increased power and cooling densities, higher power consumption and energy efficiency requirements. Channel partners are a significant part of our business. They figure prominently in our planning and strategy process. We are confident of providing unique benefits to our partners under the Channel Partner Program”, said Shrinivas Chebbi, Country General Manager & President, India & SAARC, APC by Schneider Electric.

APC also plans to launch its Partner Online Destination (POD) at these events. The POD is an online platform developed by APC to reach out to its partners. The portal will have sales tools, downloadable brochures and training programs in the form of live webinars with industry experts, award-winning Data Center University online courses, instructor-led classroom training and updates on emerging trends and technologies. The soft skill development module aims to improve partners' selling ability, win customer loyalty, enhance their overall productivity and profitability.
