PVR Ltd., one of the leading retail entertainment companies today announced the opening of the first multiplex in Raipur, Chhattisgarh. The four screen multiplex with a seating capacity of 1,203 will offer the people of Raipur a digital movie experience. With this launch at Magneto mall in Raipur PVR Cinemas is now present in 15 cities with a total number of 112 screens.
Speaking on the occasion Mr. Pramod Arora, Group President, PVR Ltd. said, "We are extremely delighted to launch PVR Cinemas in Raipur, capital city of the beautiful and enchanting state of Chhattisgarh. This is a first step towards our strategic expansion plans and we are looking forward to provide a world class movie experience to other centers in Chhattisgarh as well.
