IBS, Gurgaon, a constituent of ICFAIAN Foundation and a pioneering B-School at Gurgaon is all set to a Two-Year Post Graduate Program in Management (PGPM) starting from June,2010.The PGPM is a certification program given by ICFAI Business School (IBS). Students are encouraged to pursue MBA Program from any University in distance mode to attain a degree.
The programs aim to equip the students with the skills, traits, and aptitude to meet and match the challenges of business in the wake of ever changing business environment. Admissions are based on the IBSAT, CAT, XAT, MAT and ATMA tests with minimum 50% marks in graduation.
The program comprises of foundation courses, Functional Courses, a summer internship program of 14 weeks, a management research project, and elective courses and two soft skills labs. These are spread over four semesters at the IBS Gurgaon campus. The students can opt to pursue elective courses in Marketing, Finance, HRM, Operations and Information Technology (IT) & System. A unique feature of the program is that apart from the requisites choices of electives, a student can choose two further optional free electives to acquire dedicated specialization in the area of his/her choice.
Another feature of IBS PGPM program is that it offers various scholarships to the students including an offer of studying at designed campuses in Australia & Switzerland, based solely on merit while pursuing the PGPM program. Scholarships based on accomplishment at degree level at joining, and performances while pursuing the PGPM are also offered.
The IBS Gurgaon, located in a sylvan campus, with a well- stocked library of over 20,000 books, 200 journals and the latest knowledge databases, both in print and electronic form, offers a perfect academic ambience and provides an excellent place of learning.
