New Delhi, March 22, 2010
From one of the most trusted and recognized brands in the world, the pocket-sized lighters feature the same reliable design as the original 1930s models including the trademark flint- wheel ignition system, rugged metal construction, hinged lid, one-hand operation and the distinctive ‘click’ that have made the Zippo lighter legendary.

The range incorporates a plethora of different finishes and designs; from chrome to solid armour, metallic brights to matte pastels and sterling silver to pure gold: there is a Zippo lighter to suit every style, every outfit and every mood.
The lighters are available at selective retail outlets and are priced from INR 1,250 onwards. The Zippo windproof lighters also come with a lifetime guarantee that you will never have to dig deep into your pockets for a new one because if it breaks, Zippo will fix it for free.
Metallic Brights
Paint your world with a rainbow of glistening colours with a rich palette of brilliant shades. Intense Candy Apple Red, vivid Cerulean and sparkling Candy Teal blue are part of the kaleidoscope of colours. Other new colours available include a shimmering rainbow Spectrum, deep lustrous Black Ice, warm Harvest Bronze and iridescent Sapphire.
Matte Pastels
Eleven stylish matte colours complement Zippo’s dazzling palette of metallic lighters including khaki green, navy blue, muted pinks and intense purple, all blushing with colour.
1941 Replica
With flatter planes that show off sharper, less rounded edges and with fewer holes in the chimney, this model is an exact copy of the Zippo windproof lighter which was on sale in 1941.
Directional Brushed Chrome
Two new patterns, Chrome Arch and Herringbone, are the result of the directional brushing imprint method. The designs provide a fresh new perspective for the brushed chrome line - Zippo’s most popular category.
Armour Case
Deep carved and plated then selectively filled for dramatic flashes of colour, the Armour Case lighters have heavy-walled armour which is 1.5 times as thick as a standard Zippo case.
Slim
The introduction of the Slim® lighter in 1956 was the first real variation from the original Zippo lighter design. Slimmer in width and thinner in depth, it was perceived as a more feminine look than the classic windproof lighter and better suited to a woman’s smaller hands.
BLUTM
The Zippo BLUTM butane pocket lighter delivers a hot, consistent, clean-burning blue flame, unlike the traditional windproof lighter which sports a yellow flame fuelled by liquid lighter fluid.
