Beginning June 25, the first rally will be held in Nashik. Red Rooster Racing will field four drivers in the rally, three in the 2000cc N+ category, and one in the 2000cc N category.

The fiercely competitive SPEED INRC sets the benchmark for endurance and performance rallying in the country. This year, most importantly, it cuts through the entire nation, with each of the 7 rounds stretching across 7 states - Maharashtra, Tamilnadu, Rajastan, Delhi, Hyderabad, Karnataka and Kerala. The Red Rooster Rallying team won the championship in 2008, their debut year, and were runners-up in 2009.

The Rally of Maharasthra, the first of the 7 legs taking place from June 25 - 27 will be held on a tarmac surface. It will have 31 of Indian motorsport's finest vying for the top spot. Widely acknowledged as the most technically challenging and physically daunting, the Rally of Maharashtra is scheduled to run a total distance of 564 kms. This is divided into 452 kms of liaison distance and 112kms of Special Stage rallying. Vikram Mathias (co-driver PVS Murthy) of Team Red Rooster Racing won this rally last year with an overall time of one hour, 23 minutes, 12 seconds, and hopes to stay on top this year too.

Dinesh Reddy, Managing Director, Red Rooster Racing, said, "Our team, under the guidance of Leelakrishnan, have been working very hard on the car, and all our drivers have put in miles on the new machines they are running this year. With the addition of Naren to the team, we think we are on the right track, with everything falling into place at the right time. We're looking forward to Nashik for an exhilarating rally experience, as we are in for a tough battle with Team MRF, who also have some of India's top drivers and machines. I am confident of a win here to kick the start the season opener in style."

Red Rooster Racing will be running all four Mitsubishi Cedias, both in the N+ and N category, under the aegis of N Leelakrishnan, Chief Technical Director and 7-time INRC champion. These cars are developed with numerous customised parts by specialists from around the world, and have been optimised for maximum performance.
