The film competition brief was to create a 60 second sec film/TV spot for the WSPA (World Society for the Protection of Animals), an international animal welfare organization. The aim was to create awareness of the Compassionate Traveller campaign, which encourages tourists to spot the attractions to avoid and recognize when animals are being abused.
The winning film was produced and edited by the Korean pair within 48 hours at the Cannes festival, which was held from June 20 – 26.
"The winning film was all-in-all a great idea. It was simple, focused and it had humanity. It had the ability to connect with people through a very simple observation, via photographs to relate to animal cruelty" said Tutssel.
