Picasso students go global with Singapore Tourism Board

Picasso Animation College, one of the premier animation institutes in India joined hands with Singapore Tourism Board to provide international platform to its students today. This is an exclusive tie-up and one of its kinds in India. This collaboration will add more value to Picasso Animation College's network in the Asian region.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. O.P. Sharma, Director General of Picasso Animation College expressed his heartiest gratitude to the Singapore Tourism Board (STB) and said, "We are extremely happy to join hands with Singapore Tourism Board which will open up many avenues for us in the near future. It will provide our students a global exposure and wide learning platform."

Singapore Tourism Board has asked the Picasso Animation College to design an animated logo for STB (Singapore Tourism Board). To add more value and excitement in designing the logo, Picasso Animation College has planned to execute it in the form of contest among the all the students across its centres. The winners will get an opportunity to attend "Anime Festival Asia in Singapore" (AFAX) on November 13 & 14, 2010. It will be followed by a full day workshop on animation techniques, processes and outputs which will witness the participation of top institutes of animation in Singapore.

He further added, "Interaction with representatives from foreign animation institutes during their visit to Singapore will open a new world for the students and they will be able to prepare themselves to face the future challenges."
