Converse Original Band hunt-Mumbai and Guwahati

After the stupendous success of the Delhi leg of Converse Original Band Hunt, that saw Back Door Blues emerge as the winners, the event now moves to Mumbai and Guwahati.

Converse Original band hunt is an initiative by Converse to search for original music, original in lyrics, composition or music and the bands that are passionate about their music.

Converse is looking for fresh talent and a band in Mumbai and Guwahati that can hold the stage and mesmerize the audience with its originality. The event will be held on 20th February at Bandra Fort Amphitheater, Bandstand, Mumbai and on 24th February at Pragjyoti ITA, Machkhowa, Guwahati. Only one band each from Mumbai and Guwahati will lay their claim to the title and get a chance to feature on the Converse Original Music CD, along with known bands.

Entries are being called in from the interested band that requires them to submit their original composition along with the filled-in registration form either through www.converse.buzzintown.com or visit their nearest Planet Sports or Converse store. The Band members shall be over 18 years of age and the music shall be an original composition, as part of the selection criteria.

The registrations are open till 7th February for Mumbai and 14th February for Guwahati. Once the entries are scanned through by an elite panel of judges the shortlisted bands will be notified individually to play it live and compete on the final day at respective locations. The finals will be in front of a live audience and panel of judges.

This time Converse is featuring 2 famous bands in "Original Band Hunt" SPLIT and Zygnema who will not only judge "Original Band Hunt -Mumbai" but also electrify every one with their rocking performance in Mumbai and Lucid Recess in Guwahati.
