Vivek Oberoi starts this year with an advertisment for Donear and looks ahead for a brighter future in films. He talks about marriage, television and ofcourse pretty Priyanka.

The happily married and settled Vivek Oberoi, is now looking to settle down even in his career. The actor is certainly basking under the glory of his marriage and beautiful wife, Priyanka Alva. Vivek looks to start this year afresh and to begin with the actor recently shot for an advertisement, 'Donear' for the brand D'Cot.

This is the first ad he has taken up after marriage and surely relates to his Indian suiting brand. He says, "Donear is an excellent and fast growing brand. My association with this brand with surely help me and this brand to grow. According to me this brand symbolises excellence. From now on all my suits are Donear." A desi at heart, Vivek is happy to be associated with this Indian brand. "I really like the values of the brand. At heart and soul, I am an Indian just like Donear. It's great to endorse something that is growing in the right direction," says the actor who will also do an ad with his father, Suresh Oberoi for the same product. Now that the actor has given ad a shot, what about films! Vivek was last seen in Ram Gopal Verma's Rakth Charitra Part1 and 2 both in which his performances were highly acclaimed.

The actor has done a mixture of romance and violence, both of which he has been appreciated for. From the lover in 'Saathiya' to the underworld guy in 'Company' to a gangster in Shootout at Lokhandwala, to playing the positive role in Omkara, the actor has given some great movies and acts. "It's an exciting year ahead, I have signed a couple of films, around six of them. I will be doing a lot more cinema now," says Vivek who isn't ready to disclose his roles and films.

The simple Punjabi boy would also like to get into television, but he has a few limitations chalked out. He says, "TV is a great market, there is a huge audience. I would love to find connect with them. But the values I represent should match the show. I will take on a show that appeals to me, I wouldn't do something cheap or vulgar. The show should be classy and dignified." With a host of actors getting into television, Bollywood stars are no longer sticking to films and ads, they want to explore the market and television is a great medium to connect with your fans. Vivek who has always presented himself as the homely, rotted and well behaved actor, wants to reach out to his fans in a big way.

Last year brought the actor lots of luck and happiness especially on his personal front. After marrying the pretty Priyanka Alva, Vivek looks a lot happier than before. Vivek feels that before marriage he was only doing the bad boy and violent roles, "I did Rakth Charitra, I found love and got married. I am very happy now, since Priyanka has come into my life. I find it difficult to bring out the anger man in me," this is surely a drastic change after marriage. The weddings bells have rung in the right ear for Vivek!

Vivek and Priyanka look the much in love couple and he feels quite lucky to have found his soul mate. "I am enjoying my married life; Priyanka is a very cultured, educated and secure girl. I am fortunate to have her in my life," smiles the Donear Man.
