Ingersoll Rand appoints Paparao Kodali as Vice President & General Manager of Engineering and Technology Centers in India

Ingersoll Rand, a world leader in creating and sustaining safe, comfortable and efficient environments, has appointed Paparao Kodali as the Vice President & General Manager of its Engineering and Technology Centers in India. In India, Ingersoll Rand has two Engineering and Technology Centers at Bangalore and Chennai that contribute to the company's global growth by providing cost effective engineering solutions and technologies, as well as by supporting regional product development. In his current profile, Paparao's key roles will include accelerating Innovation, developing India-based Centers of Excellence, supporting Global Product Development and designing and developing products for Emerging Markets.

An industry veteran with several years of experience in technology leadership, business development and management domain, Paparao joined Ingersoll Rand in October 2007. Prior to the current role, Paparao held the position of Global Director, Technology Business Development, at Ingersoll Rand's US headquarters, and was responsible for developing strategic technology and business development roadmaps for the company. Paparao has extensive experience and deep understanding of technology, advanced scientific software development and software consulting.

Before joining Ingersoll Rand, Paparao held a variety of technical and management positions at Nortel Networks, US and Hughes/Raytheon Systems, US. An engineering graduate of Birla Institute of Technology and Sciences (BITS) Pilani, India, Paparao obtained advanced degrees in management (MBA) from India and computer science (MS) from the United States.
