Scott Davies is the General Manager at the first Pullman hotel in India, which is expected to launch in July 2011. In addition, he is the General Manager Delegate for Accor Hotel Operations in Delhi & National Capital Region. Accor is the European leader in hotels that has a presence in 90 countries with 4,100 hotels and close to 500,000 rooms. Accor serves travellers through its upscale brands Sofitel, Pullman as well as its midscale Novotel, Mercure, and Suitehotel, and economy chains Ibis and All Seasons. In addition, it operates budget brands Motel 6 and Formule 1.

In February 2008, Mr Davies joined the Accor India team with responsibilities for hotel operations and product development for the Novotel brand throughout the country. In June 2010 he moved to take on his current role as the General Manager Delegate for Accor hotels in the National Capital Region of Delhi under which he focuses on providing strategic directions to all hotel projects under development from an operations perspective in the pre-opening stage.

Mr Davies has the primary responsibility of opening India's first Pullman Hotel to its exacting international standards, therefore responsible for all pre-opening activities and post opening operations of the Pullman Gurgaon Central Park.

Scott joined Accor in 1996 after spending five years with various hotel chains in the USA and Australia. In his 15 years tenure with the company, Scott has worked across all Accor brands with exposure to Asia and the Pacific. It was in 2001 that he was promoted as General Manager Great Keppel Island Resort overseeing the takeover and re-launch of the Resort. Scott went onto direct the transformation of Mercure Hotel, Perth as General Manager over a two year period. After a successful stint in Australia, Scott moved to Hong Kong as pre-opening General Manager of the flagship 440 room Novotel Citygate Hong Kong which went on to win numerous hospitality industry awards linked to outstanding product and service. It remains a benchmark Hotel for the Accor group in the region. He joined the Accor India team in 2008 to manage the growing Novotel network in India before taking up his current role overseeing Accor operations in Delhi & NCR in addition to pre-opening General Manager of Pullman Gurgaon Central Park.

Mr Davies, 40, holds a Bachelor Degree in Business and Hotel Management from Victoria University of Technology in Melbourne, Australia.
