Pearson VUE, the global leader in assessments and testing for academic, professional and licensure examinations, successfully conducted the Law School Admission Test for admission into Indian law schools on Saturday 30th April 2011. LSAT—India is a special version of the renowned LSAT® (Law School Admission Test) conducted globally by the Law School Admission Council (LSAC) for use by law schools in India.

30 Law Colleges have adopted LSAT—India 2011 as their criterion for admissions, a more than 7-fold jump over last year when only 4 colleges accepted LSAT-India scores. Prestigious institutions like - IIT Kharagpur - Law School, Jindal Global Law School (JGLS) - Sonipat, UPES - Dehradun, KLE Society's Law College - Bangalore, JSS Law College - Mysore etc have signed up for acceptance of LSAT—India 2011 scores for admissions to their 2011 batches.

Designed to measure critical thinking skills, such as logical reasoning, analytical reasoning and reading comprehension, LSAT—India was conducted successfully across 17 cities (Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Dehradun, Delhi, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Kochi, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Pune, Raipur and Ranchi).
