Angsana Bintan unveils stylish new rooms and facilities

Set in picturesque Tanjung Said Bay in Bintan, Indonesia and surrounded by lush tropical rainforest, Angsana Bintan will unveil a stylish new look on 15 June 2011. Infusing a chic and contemporary design for its 106 suites and rooms and showcasing new F&B and recreational facilities, the resort is the first Angsana branded property within the Banyan Tree group to undergo a major renovation this year. Introductory Offers

To celebrate the launch of Angsana Bintan's renovated resort, there are two introductory offers valid from 15 June to 15 September 2011. The Angsana Unveiled package is available from US$185++ per room per night for double occupancy, and includes daily breakfast for two persons. Guests are guaranteed a late check out at 1500 hrs and return land transfers to and from Bandar Bentan Telani Ferry Terminal. This package also includes a USD50 credit per booking that can be used on food and beverage and recreational activities at Angsana Bintan.

Designed for celebrating romantic occasions, the Above The Rest package is available at US$888++ and includes a two night accommodation in a one-bedroom suite, daily breakfast and early check in at 0900 hrs and late check out at 1800 hrs. Never a Dull Moment

To enhance its strong reputation as a tropical island getaway, boasting a stunning private beach with powder-white fine sand and endless views of the South China Sea with one of the oldest coastal tropical rainforests in this region, the renovated Angsana Bintan will strengthen its product offering for guests, including leisure and corporate clients.

For the active guest, the new 240 square metre recreation deck will provide hours of fun-filled entertainment, with facilities for pool/billiards, table tennis, foosball, darts and board games. Those looking to work up a sweat for fitness can exercise at the new 36 square metre gymnasium, equipped with both cardiovascular and strength training machines. Through the new Ranger Trail trek, nature lovers will get up close and personal with the wide variety of tree and plant species available at the tropical rainforest surrounding the resort. Led by a trained ranger, guests will have the opportunity to observe indigenous plants and trees in Bintan including the pitcher plant, rotan, giant pandan, pakis merah and tonkat ali.

These new facilities complement the wide range of daily activities available at the resort including windsurfing, beach volleyball, golf introduction, aerobics, snorkelling lesson and bocce ball. The marine centre also offers a range of activities for the water sports enthusiast including windsurfing, kayaking, body boarding, zuma sailing and hobie cataraman sailing. Other sea sport activities include banana boat ride, snorkelling safari tour, water skiing, wake boarding, and jet skiing.

On land, those craving an adrenaline rush can take a spin on the All-Terrain Vehicle (ATV) by driving through a designated ATV track. Parents travelling with children have the option of the Kid's Club and babysitting services, allowing for some quality time with each other.

The renovated Angsana Bintan features a new look for its two meeting rooms, ensuring that meetings are held in style.
