Hardly being able to believe his achievement, an overjoyed Harsh said "I am extremely happy. I thank God for blessing me like this. I thank my parents and my maternal uncle for the support they have given me. And on top of all I thank Smile Foundation for giving me this platform where I am standing today."

Harsh's proud father Ashok Mayar stated "I cannot stop the tears rolling down my cheeks. I could not have asked for more. My son has made me so proud today. Winning the National Award is the pinnacle of all achievements. And my son has touched the pinnacle. I want to thank God for giving us such a talented child. And I want to thank Smile Foundation for giving this opportunity to my son. This is a golden opportunity not only for Harsh but for our entire family. My son was born and brought up in a slum. But today what he has become is in front for everyone to see. And I believe this is all because of the platform that Smile Foundation gave him. I cannot thank them enough."
